What is Soveren Agent?

Soveren Agents are pieces of software that are a part of Soveren.

There are various Agents built to provides interaction between Soveren and various external data sources. They allow you to automatically process data in external data sources you integrate with your Soveren account.

Types of data sources

Soveren supports integration with the following types of data sources:

  1. Standard SaaS applications
These are applications run within a company's SaaS account and allow to access client's data stored in the SaaS.
An agent is deployed within Soveren. It connects to the API of a SaaS application like HubSpot or ZenDesk and is configured with the appropriate connection credentials, like an API key or OAuth 2.0, and data schema, which is standard for most clients.
  2. Custom SaaS database
These are databases that belong to the company but deployed on a cloud platform like Azure or AWS.
An agent is deployed on the same cloud the company's database but within the Soveren space. The agent is configured with the appropriate connection credentials and data schema, which in this case is configured per company.
  3. Custom on-premise database
These are databases that belong to the company and deployed at the company.
An agent in this case is deployed within the company's network perimeter. The agent is configured with the appropriate connection credentials and data schema, which in this case is configured per company. From its side, the company is responsible for an appropriate defensive perimeter such as firewalls, proxies, and application-level gateways between the database and the agent.
  4. Custom on-premise application
These are applications that belong to the company and deployed at the company.
An agent in this case is deployed within the company's network perimeter. The agent is configured with the appropriate connection credentials, like an API key, and data schema, which in this case is configured per company.
In case the application lacks appropriate API capabilities, we can discuss our help in enriching the API. From its side, the company is responsible for an appropriate defensive perimeter such as firewalls, proxies, and application-level gateways between the application and the agent.
